Brazil’s Rio is a great party town. Everywhere you go, everywhere you look, people are just partying it up. Rio is just one big party. Besides the partying factor, people in this part of the world are beach crazy. As Stanley Stewart mentions, just like the English go to the pubs, the dwellers of Rio visit the beaches. Let’s see what else make Rio a good place to visit.
The Brazilian beach town is reputed for hosting some of the most outrageous carnivals. I call Rio a beach town because, there’s people in swimsuits all around. Wherever you look, you see people in swimsuits. I think this is great! According to Stanley, the Lapa district of Rio is the best place to be.
Lapa is basically an ancient version of Rio. It is several miles away from the beaches of Rio and still makes an awesome tourist spot. This is where Samba came to life. But, eventually when the rock and hard metal of Rio’s discos took over, Lapan Samba was forgotten. Although things changed, the Samba never stopped. The author of the UK Times article, mentions that seeing Brazilian’s dance to their music is like watching a couple having sex with music on!
